Pawley's Island Chapel at Sunset
I got a chance to spend several days in Pawley’s Island, SC and I fell in LOVE with the place. The sea, the people, the food…and the absolutely amazing views. We happened upon the famous Pawley’s Island Chapel just as the sun was setting and we were treated to the most beautiful sight. So, taking inspiration from this beautiful setting, I created this piece, which features the glorious colors of the sunset behind the chapel and the marsh piers around it, in 122 individual pieces of glass. It is 14” wide and 11 1/4” tall and has a zinc frame.
